Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests. This role is essential in upholding the high standards of our hospitality service.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues to management.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation policies to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and guest satisfaction.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or services.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, ensuring proper storage and organization.
Skills
- Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
