Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and assisting with the smooth operation of the dining area. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Assist servers by clearing tables promptly, resetting them for new guests, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, taking reservations or providing information as needed.
- Support the food service team by helping with food delivery and ensuring that all guest needs are met promptly.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service at all times.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience required.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, as it aids in managing orders efficiently.
- A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment are essential traits for success in this role.
