Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests. This position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Duties
- Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables promptly after guests leave
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces
- Help with food handling by delivering dishes from the kitchen to the dining area as needed
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations
- Refill water glasses and provide additional support to guests as required
- Assist in maintaining stock levels of utensils, napkins, and other dining essentials
- Support the overall cleanliness of the restaurant, including restrooms and entryways
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic food handling practices is beneficial
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role
