We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that each guest has a memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the flow of guests while maintaining comfort.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times, menu options, and special events.
- Assist in managing the dining area to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items, hours of operation, and reservations.
- Utilize POS systems for managing seating charts and tracking guest flow efficiently.
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred, particularly in restaurants or hotels.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others and delivering excellent guest services.
- Familiarity with food service operations is an advantage, including knowledge of menu items and dining protocols.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.85-$20.10 per hour
