Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills, demonstrating a strong work ethic and the ability to tackle various tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring that properties are well-maintained and that all repairs are completed to high standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
- Troubleshoot issues and conduct repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
- Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on progress.
- Adhere to safety protocols while performing all tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when required.
- A valid driver’s license and vehicle is needed for travel between job sites.
- Flexibility to work on various projects as needed, adapting to changing priorities.
