Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of maintenance and repair skills, enabling them to tackle a variety of tasks in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and efficiently, ensuring that all jobs are completed to the highest standards.
Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, including drywall, Taping, carpentry, and painting tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues that require attention.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from clients or management.
- Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople when necessary to complete larger projects.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various construction and maintenance techniques and methods.
- Familiarity with tools, equipment, and safety protocols related to construction and repair work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
