Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of skills to handle various maintenance and repair tasks efficiently.
This role is essential for ensuring that our facilities remain in excellent condition, providing a safe and functional environment for all occupants. The Handy Man will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and improvements across various properties.
Responsibilities
- Conduct general maintenance and repairs on buildings, fixtures, and equipment.
- Perform plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and installing fixtures.
- Handle electrical work including replacing light fixtures, outlets, and switches.
- Execute carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, and furniture.
- Paint interior and exterior surfaces to maintain aesthetics.
- Assist with landscaping and outdoor maintenance as needed.
- Respond promptly to service requests and work orders from management or tenants.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols during all tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general maintenance practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and provide timely solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- A valid driver’s license is a plus for transportation between job sites.
- Certification in relevant trades (e.g., plumbing or electrical) is an advantage but not required.
