As we gear up for the upcoming season, we seek a reliable and dynamic individual to join our team as a Grounds Maintenance Account Manager; you will be responsible for managing and growing our client relationships, overseeing the quality of grounds maintenance services, and ensuring the efficient delivery of landscaping services. This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent communication skills, strong leadership, and a passion for delivering top-tier landscaping solutions. You will play a key part in maintaining and expanding our client base while ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Regularly check in with clients to ensure satisfaction with grounds maintenance services.
Account Oversight:
- Manage multiple accounts, ensuring that maintenance schedules are adhered to and quality standards are met.
- Monitor the performance of grounds maintenance teams and provide guidance and support.
- Prepare and deliver client proposals, estimates, and reports on maintenance services.
Team Coordination:
- Collaborate with field crews to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Assist with scheduling and resource allocation to meet project deadlines.
Business Development:
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional services or expanding existing contracts.
- Participate in the preparation and submission of proposals for new business opportunities.
Health, Safety, and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations on all projects.
- Promote a safety-first culture within the team and clients.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or a similar industry, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or account management role.
- Strong understanding of grounds maintenance services, landscape design, and seasonal requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the landscaping industry.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and CRM software.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Landscape Industry Certified (or similar certification) is a plus.
