Child Care Algoma invites applications for the position of
GENERAL MAINTENANCE WORKER
Indefinite Full Time Contract
35 Hours per week ~ Monday-Friday
Salary Range: $18.70 - $22.10 per hour ~ Based on experience
The Ideal Candidate will have:
▪ Any combination of experience and education in a skilled building and maintenance trade, including repair, alterations, construction/carpentry, landscaping/horticulture and custodial duties
▪ WHMIS and Workers Health and Safety Awareness Training
▪ Proficiency in English and French an asset
▪ Current Standard First Aid CPR Level C
▪ Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check
▪ Health Assessment and Current Immunization Record required from successful candidate
▪ Possession of a vehicle, valid Ontario Driver’s Licence and required insurance
