Gardener / Horticulture Technician

Greenview Landscape Inc. is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Gardener/Horticulture Technician to join our team! This hands-on role is perfect for someone who loves working outdoors, takes pride in garden care, and has a strong understanding of plants, soil, and seasonal maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Garden bed maintenance (weeding, edging, deadheading, pruning)
- Planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and perennials
- Mulching, soil amendment, and seasonal cleanups
- Diagnosing and treating plant health issues
- Communicating with clients and maintaining site quality
- Assisting with general landscaping tasks as needed
- Garden design
Requirements:
- Experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance
- Strong plant ID skills and basic knowledge of plant care
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to lift 40+ lbs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- WHMIS or horticulture certification is an asset (but not required)
What We Offer:
- Pay range: $21–$28/hr (based on experience)
- 30–40 hours/week, Monday–Friday (occasional weekends)
