Job Overview
Duties and requirements include but not limited to:
- Weeding, pruning, edging, mulching, leaf blowing/raking, some planting, string trimming, and creating seasonal planter displays.
- Provide estimates to clients.
- Add or edit client information as needed.
- Editing and sending invoices to clients.
- Communicating with clients and the office as needed.
- Keeping all shared gardening documents current.
- Tracking and ordering gardening equipment and supplies.
- Maintaining gardening equipment.
- Manage and train team members.
- Delegate tasks to team members.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience with gardening and management is required.
- Must have a minimum G2 driver's license and the ability to get to the starting job location.
- A criminal background check is required.
- Must be capable of basic plant identification.
- Hardworking, punctual, keeps tools organized.
- Ability to use small gas-powered equipment
- Ability to drive a trailer
- Experience pruning shrubs
- Garden design sense
Must be able to work in all weather conditions and lift 50 lbs. The job involves repeated bending and kneeling.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: From $20.70 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
