We’re looking for Game Masters who are energetic, responsible, and customer-focused to handle the daily operations at Cube Challenges. You'll be the friendly face that welcomes our guests, gets them checked in, explains the rules, keeps the game areas running smoothly, and ensures everyone leaves with a smile on their face.
Role Overview: Game Master
Location: On-site
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.20 per hour
Availability: MUST be available on Saturdays, and have 20+ hours available per week.
What You'll Do:
Customer Check-In & Reception:
- Greet guests with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Manage bookings, take payments, and handle waivers.
- Clearly explain game instructions, safety guidelines, and how the Cube Challenges work.
Game Facilitation & Timekeeping:
- Keep track of game times and ensure smooth flow of teams through the challenge areas.
- Provide encouragement and assistance where needed to keep players engaged and safe.
- Monitor progress and offer guidance when teams need a little extra help.
Room Setup & Maintenance:
- Test and reset challenge rooms after each group to ensure they’re ready for the next team.
- Perform regular safety checks and basic maintenance to keep all equipment in top shape.
Clean & Organized Environment:
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the venue, including reception, waiting areas, and game rooms.
- Ensure all props, equipment, and areas are clean, sanitized, and well-presented.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members to coordinate daily schedules.
- Communicate customer feedback, incidents, or technical issues to the management team.
What We're Looking For:
✔ Outgoing, energetic, and friendly personality—you're the hype person and the host!
✔ Strong communication skills and customer service experience.
✔ Ability to think on your feet and solve problems quickly.
✔ Great organizational skills—you’ll be juggling check-ins, payments, and room resets.
✔ Physically active; some challenges require moving props or equipment between games.
✔ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours (weekends and evenings are a must).
✔ Previous experience in hospitality, events, or recreational facilities is a bonus!
✔ Passion for interactive games, puzzles, and creating fun experiences for others.
