Responsibilities:The Fundraising Administrator will provide vital administrative and operational support to the Fundraising and Community Engagement team. Reporting directly to the Manager of Fundraising and Community Engagement, this role helps ensure the smooth execution of fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship processes, event coordination, and database management.
Qualifications and Skills:
I. Education and Certifications
o Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
o Current CPIC (Criminal Record Check)
o Valid Ontario “G” driver’s license.
II. Experience
o 1–2 years of experience in an administrative role.
o 1–2 years of experience in a nonprofit or fundraising setting is an asset.
o Experience with donor databases/CRMs is an asset.
o Experience in purchasing and expense tracking is an asset
III. Skills
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English is required.
o Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
o Highly organized with strong attention to detail
o Skilled in preparing reports, letters, and meeting documents
o High level of confidentiality with donor and financial data
o Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
