Olympus Cannabis is a licensed cannabis retailer committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and informative shopping environment. With continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented individual to join our store team as a full-time Cannabis Sales Associate.
This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys working with people, is curious about cannabis products and regulations, and thrives in a fast-paced retail atmosphere. Since the position also involves deliveries, applicants must have access to their own vehicle.
Position Summary
As a Sales Associate, you’ll play a vital role in supporting day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with provincial laws, and delivering excellent service to every customer who walks through our doors.
Main Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers, recommending products based on their preferences and level of experience
- Provide accurate information on product use, safe consumption, and dosing guidelines
- Verify valid government-issued identification to confirm customers are 19+
- Process transactions efficiently through the POS system
- Handle both in-store pickup and delivery orders (requires valid G-class license and personal vehicle)
- Restock shelves, rotate inventory, and maintain organized displays
- Support store upkeep, merchandising, and cleanliness
- Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and regulatory changes
- Participate in inventory counts and stock management
- Follow opening/closing checklists and adhere to all security procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum age: 19 years
- G-Class driver’s license with reliable personal transportation
- CannSell certification (must be completed before first shift)
- Previous customer service, retail, or hospitality experience is an asset
- Knowledge of cannabis products and the Cannabis License Act is preferred
- Strong communication skills with a professional, approachable attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable using technology, POS systems, and handling payments
- Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented
