Job description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receptionist at TN Nails and Spa. This is a part-time and a full time position, in person, working up to 20-40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing client schedules, answering incoming calls and maintaining accurate records.
Full time : 10am - 4pm
Part time : Weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet clients, walk them to the proper beauty station and inform the assigned esthetician of their arrival.
- Answer phone calls, and process transactions.
- Manage client schedules, including booking appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling.
- Process transactions (cash and credit cards) and issue receipts.
- Offer beverages and chat with clients who are in the waiting area
- Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services and schedule appointments based on availability.
- Inform clients about new services and discounts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information, including contact details, appointment history, and payment records.
- Communicate effectively with clients, and other staff members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain a tidy reception area and help cleaning up the spa chairs when not busy.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with customer service and previous receptionist or administrative assistant is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, phone etiquette, ability to work independently, and strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with processing transactions.
- Strong attention to detail is required.
