Responsibilities:
· Onboard new partner carriers following established SOPs.
· Negotiate competitive shipping rates with carriers and customers based on market trends.
· Coordinate, monitor and track shipments from origin to destination
· Troubleshoot shipment delays or issues, ensuring timely and customer-friendly resolutions.
· Maintain and grow long-term relationships with customers and carriers
· Drive sales growth and meet revenue targets.
· Manage all aspects of the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to hit deadlines.
· Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate billing and resolve discrepancies quickly.
Skills/Qualifications:
· Strong knowledge of LTL (Less-Than Truckload), FTL (Full Truckload) and other modes of transport
· Previous experience in freight brokerage or a related logistics/supply chain role.
· Excellent customer relationship management skills
· Strong negotiation and sales skills
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Troubleshooting, critical thinking and developing outside the box solutions
· Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and reorganize workload in order to meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
· Geographical knowledge of North America is an asset
· Familiarity with LoadLink or other load boards
· Team-first attitude and ability to perform under pressure.
