We’re looking for an experienced traffic control professional who has a strong understanding of freeway traffic management and brings expertise and adaptability to the team - someone ready to take the lead, contribute meaningfully, and grow with us.
About the Role:
The main objective of the Freeway Traffic Control Team Lead (TCTL) role is to coordinate, supervise, and administer all activities of a Freeway Traffic Control Crew to ensure safe and efficient lane closures for our clients. This person is responsible for developing and implementing traffic plans and hazard assessment, towing, installing, and programming TC-12s and PVMS boards, supervising and participating in the set-up and removal of traffic control equipment, adjusting work zone equipment based on site conditions, and responding to evolving client needs, hazards, and emergency situations. This is a vital role in our Freeway Division, responsible for administering our commitment to the safety of employees, clients, and the traveling public.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in TCTL role
- Comprehensive understanding of Book 7
- Comprehensive understanding of freeway hazards, risks, and controls.
- Valid G class Licence
- Daily access to a reliable vehicle
- Smartphone with a Data plan
- Multi-role experience as a TCT or CTD is considered an asset

Pay: From $33.42 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 65 per week
