We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Traffic Control Design Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Traffic Control Design Specialist will play a critical role in drafting temporary traffic control plans for our companies across North America.
Responsibilities:
- Design and create traffic control plans to meet the specific needs of customers using Rapid Plan and Adobe software.
- Submit Traffic Control Plans to contractors and authorities for approval.
- Utilize Rapid Plan to perform moderate drafting tasks.
- Read, interpret, and analyze civil drawings, field notes, survey information, utility maps, and other mapping reference materials to prepare base maps.
- Read, interpret, and revise traffic plans to create preliminary design drawings in Rapid Plan.
- Prepare temporary traffic control plans using MUTCD, City/County Specification and ADA Compliance.
- Ability to coordinate workloads with your supervisor.
- Maintain company confidentiality practices and policies.
- Interact professionally with all company personnel and outside persons.
- Ability to interpret and communicate intricate information properly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in traffic control design is preferred.
- Traffic Control Design Specialist course is preferred.
- Proficient in using Rapid Plan and Adobe software is preferred.
- Knowledge of MUTCD, City/County Spec’s and ADA Compliance standards.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Must hold a Traffic Control Supervisor Certification or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
