The Good Planet Company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor and Production Assistant to join our store and body care team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about natural and sustainable products and will play a crucial role in crafting our high-quality body care line. This position involves various aspects of floor and production responsibilities, from customer attendance, front cashier, to designing, preparing, and packaging finished goods, all while adhering to our company's quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Provide exceptional customer service to all shoppers
- Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register
- Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw ingredients according to formulations for various body care products (e.g., soaps, lotions, balms, etc.).
- Operate and maintain production equipment, ensuring it is clean and in good working order.
- Design and launch in-store body care products.
- Carefully fill and label containers with finished products.
- Package products according to company standards, ensuring presentation aligns with our brand.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the production area, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management of raw materials and finished products.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet our high standards.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals.
- Potentially assist with other tasks as needed in a small, dynamic company environment. Primarily, this will involve cashier attendance when required.
Qualifications
- Understanding of manufacturing processes.
- POS and cash register.
- Experience in line operations.
- Proficiency in using hand tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety protocols.
