Crossing All Bridges Learning Centre (CABLC) is a vibrant day program for adults with developmental disabilities. We provide life‑skills development, meaningful social opportunities, and inclusive community experiences in a welcoming environment.
We are seeking a creative, energetic, and compassionate Expressive Arts Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will plan, deliver, and evaluate expressive arts programming, including art, music, and drama, designed to enrich the lives of our participants. You will also support community involvement, foster partnerships, and help ensure our programs run smoothly and inclusively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead engaging expressive arts programs (art, music, drama)
- Support participants during daily activities, outings, and special events
- Build and maintain partnerships to expand program opportunities
- Maintain accurate program plans, inventory, and documentation
- Actively participate in staff meetings and contribute to a positive team environment
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and confidentiality policies
Qualifications
- Diploma/certificate in a related field (e.g., Educational Assistant, DSW, Expressive Arts)
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is an asset
- Strong communication, organization, and group‑management skills
- Creative, enthusiastic, and able to work collaboratively
- First Aid/CPR certification and a clear Vulnerable Sector Check required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
