Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes, ensuring that all food safety and quality standards are met.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation and ensure timely service of food.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Follow food safety protocols, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages.
- Participate in daily kitchen prep work, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Assist with training new kitchen staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
