NSSL is growing again and is looking for a full time recruiter to join their team!
Duties Include: Source, recruit, screen, and interview experienced driver candidates both Canada and the USA
Build a talent network through creative and strategic recruitment techniques including social networking, referral generation, networking, direct sourcing, and advanced online sourcing (may be more your role then the jr. But they would assist to build)
Participate in industry events to build relationships and a candidate pipeline
Participate in recruiting events such as job fairs
Cultivate and sustain a positive culture, quality performance, safe environment, and a positive professional driver experience
Be knowledgeable of local labor market, processes and policies which relate to drivers.
Understand different licenses and documentation required while hiring
Assist qualified candidates in completing their employment applications, and ensure all necessary paperwork is submitted by the candidate.
Assist with the new hire documentation such as the offer, drug testing, etc
Conduct background checks,
Schedules and presents training/orientation programs.
Requirements
1 year previous recruitment experience
Experience within the trucking industry is preferred
Knowledge of Driver documentation would be an asset
Passionate about being a subject matter recruitment expert
Strong initiative and self-motivation
Ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong research, networking, and sourcing skills
Excellent organizational skills, with proven ability to manage multiple searches
French language skills would be considered an asset
