Fix Auto is looking for a Detail Technician!
As a Detail Technician, you will pre-clean the vehicle for repair planning and final detailing for delivery in a timely manner to have the vehicle ready for production and for the customer will collaborate effectively with the paint and body department to achieve efficient vehicle flow throughout the shop.
A day in the Life of a Detail Technician at Fix Auto
- Cleaning automobile exteriors; wash surfaces and tires, use cleaning solutions with cloths and brushes, rinsing and drying cleaned surfaces and polishing chrome
- Clean automobile interior by vacuuming carpeting, ceilings, and upholstery; emptying receptacles; cleaning, polishing, and drying surfaces and treating spots and stains
- Maintain quality service by following service standards
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing and expediting orders and verifying receipt
- Maintain safe work environment by adhering to work standards and practices.
- Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Our ideal candidate is someone:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Detail Technician or a similar role
- Basic knowledge of the collision repair industry
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment
- Is available to work Monday through Friday from 7:30A.M. - 5:00P.M.
