The ServiceOntario Office in Port Perry is hiring 1-2 part time positions.
This is a private office and therefore is not a government position. No benefits or pension are available at this time.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will be a front facing customer service representative, operating a computer at the office serving the general public. You will be processing Driver, Vehicle, Health Card, Identity Card and Accessible Parking Permit Transactions. Some examples of transactions can include renewing drivers licenses and Health Cards, registering motor vehicles, issuing licence plates and vehicle permits, and issuing accessible parking permits. You will also provide customers with general information and policy support. The position also may require routine cleaning and other small tasks as required to support the operation of the office.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
-Must be 18 years of age or older
-Must be able to arrive to work on time (Drive a car or take public transit)
-Pass a security background screening
-Can operate a computer, type and use data entry programs
-The ability to learn quickly in a high volume, fast paced environment
-The ability to maintain a binder of notes in an organized manner
-The ability to complete online training from home
JOB DETAILS
Starting Wage: $18.00
Hours: The position will had varying hours that are required depending on the position.
1 part time staff could work: M-F 11:30-5 and every Saturday 8:30-12
or
2 part time staff could work 2-3 days a week 10, 11 or 11:30-5 and every Saturday 8:30-12
A determination will be made on how many candidates will be hired based on interview performance.
You will be required to stay beyond the closing time of your shift to serve any customers that remain in the office which means these hours can vary. You will be guaranteed at least 6 hours per week. There may be an opportunity to accept extra shifts during the week as required by management. Summer availability will increase as staff take vacation (May-September).
Regular Hours of Operation: M-F 8:30-5, ST 8:30-12
