At Mobility 1st, we are seeking a Customer Service, Product Expert, and CPAP Assistant to join our dynamic team. You will work alongside our Respiratory Therapist, helping to develop and implement treatment plans, educate patients, and ensure ongoing care. As the CPAP Assistant, you will play a key role in assisting with patient education, conducting follow-ups, and promoting the sales and rental of medical equipment.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
As the Customer Service, Product Expert, and CPAP Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Patient Education & Support: Assist the Respiratory Therapist in educating patients on CPAP usage, treatment plans, and the benefits of ongoing therapy.
- Implementation of Treatment Plans: Work alongside the Respiratory Therapist to help develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with sleep apnea.
- Ongoing Assessment & Follow-up: Conduct regular follow-up calls and in-person assessments to ensure patients are receiving optimal care and using their CPAP devices correctly.
- Sales & Rentals Support: Promote and support the sales and rental of CPAP equipment and other medical products through consultation and product recommendations.
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring each client feels supported and informed. Address any concerns or questions regarding CPAP equipment and related services.
- Inventory Management & Record Keeping: Track and maintain inventory, ensuring stock levels are optimal, and assist with order processing and customer inquiries.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
We are looking for someone who:
- Graduating Students: Recent graduates are welcome! This role is perfect for those looking to start their career in the field of respiratory care.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist or Current Student in the Field: Candidates who are either registered respiratory therapists or students currently pursuing this field will be highly considered.
- Experience in Homecare or Medical Equipment Sales: Knowledge of medical equipment sales, particularly in the homecare or respiratory space, is an asset.
- Familiarity with CPAP Monitoring Platforms: Familiarity with CPAP equipment, monitoring systems, and troubleshooting will be beneficial.
- Knowledge of the Assistive Devices Program (ADP): Understanding of the ADP and its application in the sale and rental of CPAP equipment is a plus.
- Has a Passion for Helping People: You’re genuinely motivated to help others and are eager to make a difference in patients’ lives.
- Strong Communication Skills: You are able to communicate complex information clearly and with empathy, both in writing and verbally.
- Customer-Centric & Team Player: You put the customer first, and you thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Multitasker & Quick Learner: You are comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously and can quickly pick up new systems and processes.
