Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for customer transactions
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests and taking orders
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Ensure food safety practices are followed during food handling and preparation
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Skills
- Strong food preparation skills with attention to detail
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is advantageous
- Proficient in cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience in serving food and beverages is a plus
