Hi there! Thanks for stopping by
Are you actively looking for a new opportunity? Or just checking the market? Well… you might just be in the right place!
We’re looking for a Content Specialist to join our Brand Content team for a 6 month contract. You will help shape the global voice of Lightspeed, crafting copy that elevates our brand across all touchpoints. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand Content, you’ll create content for multiple internal and external channels—landing pages, videos, social media content, webinars, emails and more—ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and reinforcing our brand values. You’ll contribute to global product launches and campaigns, showcasing how Lightspeed fuels retail and hospitality ambitions through technology and insight. Your work will have a direct impact on positioning Lightspeed not just as the leading omnichannel commerce platform for the retail, hospitality and golf industries, but as a world-class brand and employer.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering polished, creative and impactful copy that supports go-to-market strategies, multichannel marketing activations and global product launches
- Crafting, editing and publishing compelling content for integrated campaigns, events, brand initiatives, partnerships, social media and customer case studies
- Creating and managing blog and website content with a focus on SEO—ensuring consistency with brand voice and style, while optimizing for search visibility and user experience
- Working with executives and other stakeholders to craft articles, presentations and social media content that support our key messages
- Contributing to global brand and style guidelines and templates
- Developing an in-depth knowledge of our key products, industries and customers and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Staying up to date on brand, copywriting and industry news and trends, and adopting new tools and technology to increase efficiency
- Contributing to the rollout of new processes, tools and trainings, auditing existing content and elevating our brand across internal and external channels
What you’ll be bringing to the team:
- 2-3 years of copywriting, journalism or communications experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Flexible attitude and the ability to switch comfortably between markets, creative ideation and product marketing depending on project requirements
- Ability to write compelling and strategic copy for all channels, with a strong point of view, a love of bold taglines and unwavering attention to detail
- Excellent people skills and the ability to collaborate with designers, videographers and cross-functional teams, from sales to product
- Comfort working to deadline in a fast-paced environment
- Strong empathy for merchants and a passion for storytelling
- A resourceful, innovative mindset with a bias to action
Even better if you have, but not necessary:
- Experience working in the retail or hospitality industry
- Experience with Wordpress or other content management systems
- Knowledge of SEO and CRO best practices
- Fluency in French
