Do you love being on camera, creating killer content, and talking all things fitness? Bells of Steel, a proudly Canadian fitness equipment brand born in Calgary, is hiring a full-time Social Media Content Coordinator/Creator to lead the charge in bringing our brand to life across platforms.
This is an on-site role based in Calgary, with no remote option. You’ll be the face behind—and often in front of—the camera, creating and coordinating content that gets people fired up about building their home gyms with Bells of Steel.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Content Creation & Strategy
- Plan, shoot, and edit engaging social content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and Reddit
- Star in content as needed—sharing product education, demos, memes, skits, trends, and more
- Write high-performing captions and coordinate with our creative team when you need custom graphics or video support
- Source and manage UGC (user-generated content) from our community
- Maintain and communicate a clear internal content calendar that aligns with product drops, campaigns, and community moments
- Identify trends and platform opportunities to help us grow our reach
Community Management & Engagement
- Monitor and respond to all comments, tags, and interactions on BoS social channels
- Proactively engage with our audience and fitness creators—especially those using our gear or reviewing it
- Build community and drive conversations that elevate the brand and its fans
Analytics & Optimization
- Track and report on key metrics and performance insights
- Use data to optimize future content and engagement strategies
- Stay on top of social media trends, platform updates, and tools—including AI—to improve efficiency and creativity
You Might Be a Great Fit If You:
- Live in Calgary, Alberta and are available to work full-time on site
- Are confident on camera and love being part of the content you create
- Have experience creating social-first content—especially video—for DTC brands
- Are a strong writer with a feel for tone, timing, and story
- Are highly organized and able to manage content planning and execution
- Know how to analyze performance data and use it to improve
- Are passionate about fitness, strength training, or home gym culture
- Bonus: Experience in influencer marketing, videography, video editing
