Superintendent Job#JCL114
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Superintendent with a strong background in heavy civil construction for a project in Cape Broyle. This project has an expected duration of approximately four months with a tentative schedule of 10 days on/4 days off.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all on-site construction activities.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets and report progress.
- Lead and mentor field crews, ensuring productivity and morale.
- Resolve on-site issues and adapt plans as needed to maintain workflow.
- Conduct inspections and ensure adherence to design specifications.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the heavy civil construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites on a turnaround schedule.
