Coleman Construction is seeking a Project Manager to Manage & estimate projects in ICI, and Agricultural sectors ranging from $100'000 - $25'000'000.
Suitable candidates would be responsible for the following in their daily role:
-Quantity take-offs for estimates and material orders
-Solicit pricing from suppliers and subtrades
-Review and prepare tender submissions and contract proposals
-Read and interpret drawings, specifications and bid sheets
-Preparing contract proposals
-Preparing and issuing subtrade contracts
-Preparing all project documents
-Project budgeting and scheduling
-preparing monthly invoice logs for monthly invoicing
-Liaison with clients, subtrades, and company personal
-Conduct Shop drawing reviews
-Conduct site inspections and logs, including progress reports.
-Relay information between consultants, owners, subcontractors and in house staff
-RFI's, Change Orders, Site instructions etc
Requirements:
The successful candidate must have the following:
-Minimum 3 years working as a project manager/ estimator for a general contracting firm in Canada
-Must be current resident of Canada
-Intermediate to Advanced knowledge and experience in Building Construction
-Strong knowledge of computers, and programs such as MS office and blubeam
-Able to read and thoroughly understand project drawings and specifications
-Able to Communicate clearly and confidently
-Able to demonstrate safe construction procedures
-Able to work under pressure and long unusual hours when required
-Able to work independently and in teams
-Must read, write, and speak English
-Must be eligible to work in canada
Assets:
-Bilingual (French & English)
-Construction field Experience
-Surveying Experience
-Post Secondary education in a relevant program (Civil engineering, CET, Architecture, Atech)
-Health and Safety training
-Experience working with Project management software (Procore, Sage 100, Sage 300, Buildertrend)
