We are looking for a motivated and creative Communications Intern to support our Communications and Engagement team. This role offers hands-on experience in event coordination, digital media, social media, and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with event coordination and on-site activation, including setup, tear-down, and staffing event booths.
Manage digital assets by uploading, tagging, and organizing photos and videos (training provided).
Support data entry and tracking efforts such as maintaining subscriber lists and tracking engagement.
Capture and edit photos and videos for social media (on-site training available).
Assist with social media content creation and day-to-day monitoring.
Optional: Create simple graphic designs in Canva for events and campaigns.
Contribute to the development of onboarding materials for new employees.
Help with organizing and cleaning up files in SharePoint.
Provide general support on communications and engagement projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in communications, marketing, or related fields.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable working both independently and in a team.
- Experience with or willingness to learn tools such as Canva, SharePoint, and digital asset management systems.
