Job Description:
This opportunity calls for an individual who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and deeply committed to the field of psychology. The chosen candidate will assume responsibility for administering psychological assessments for a range of clients, including school boards, insurance companies and WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) cases.

Responsibilities:
· Experience with diverse assessment applications and interventions.
· Clinical experience working with children and adolescents.
· Experience working with ADHD in children is an asset.
· Proficiency in writing skills and comfort with technology.
· Excellent client retention and rapport-building capabilities.
· Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities and effective organizational skills.
· Proficiency in using a range of empirically validated risk and psychological assessment tools, as well as evidence-based treatment modalities and related techniques, especially with forensic populations for the prevention of offending behavior.
· Ability to provide a combination of mental health and psychoeducational assessment services to children and adolescents, which includes interviewing/information gathering, test administration, scoring, interpretation and report writing.
· A forward-thinking attitude towards the evolving field of mental health services.
Qualifications:
· Ph.D. or Psy.D. or Master's degree in Psychology with expertise in Clinical Psychology involving children and adolescents
· Must be registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) and be in good standing.
· Must be authorized to work in Canada.
· Minimum 4-5 years experience working in a similar position.
· Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate with children of different ages and from varied socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
· Empathetic to the needs of children.
· Adherence to professional, legal and ethical regulations, as required by relevant regulatory bodies and the law.
· Patience and understanding when working with children and adolescents

Pay: $80,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
