Inclusive Child Care Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing and educating children in a safe and engaging environment. This position requires a strong commitment to the well-being and development of children, particularly those with disabilities. The Childcare Provider will work closely with children to promote their social, emotional, and cognitive growth through structured activities and individualized attention.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Educate children through age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Create a positive and inclusive environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
• Plan and implement engaging activities that foster creativity, social skills, and early childhood education principles.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom setting conducive to learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education.
• Observe children's behavior and development, documenting progress as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
• Strong caregiving skills, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding towards children's needs.
• Ability to work effectively with children who have disabilities or special needs is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A passion for educating young minds and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
