Crescendo Early Learning Academy is a new facility located in the community of Laurier Heights. Our Centre is located in a mature and beautiful community, close to the Edmonton Zoo. We offers programs to children from 12th months to Grade 6.
JOB DUTIES:
- Creating a caring and stimulating environment for infants (12-18 months)
- Provide nurturing care and supervision to children in accordance with licensing regulations, program policies, and best practices in early childhood education.
- Has knowledge and able to follow AHS regulations and guidelines for child care.
- Provide room partner and parents with daily reporting through Centre's App.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, and maintain open and effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children at all times, including monitoring for signs of illness or injury and following proper procedures for emergency situations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment that supports learning and exploration.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualized plans for children with diverse needs, including those with special needs or English language learners.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education and care.
- Able to bend, get-down to children's level, carrying or lifting children weight 50lbs or less.
- Spend time with children in the outdoor setting for at least twice a day when the weather is above -15c.
- Must be available between 7am - 6pm.

Pay: $16.00-$24.16 per hour
