Rae’s Bistro is one of Winnipeg’s fastest growing brands. In January 2024 we expanded our foot print by 1300 sq feet and our dine in capacity by 50%.
We are a locally owned independent restaurant with focus on fresh ingredients, quality beverages and exceptional service. We are looking for a creative high energy individual to join our team of 45 strong.
As a Chef De Partie you will be tasked with a specific station within the kitchen. You will be in charge of preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes in your assigned area. You will be in charge of training staff and managing staff in that station.

Qualified candidates will be given a 30 minute over the phone interview and a 4 hour in person assessment.
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Food Handler Certification.
- Valid Class 5 License an asset.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 1 years leadership/managerial Food and Beverage experience.
- Minimum 3 years experience as a line cook or higher.
- General background in line cooking and restaurant dining.
- Knowledge of food handling and Manitoba sanitation standards.
- Ability to understand food costing and operating budgets.
- Knowledge of labour scheduling and forecasting.
A combination of all experience will be considered when evaluating candidates.
