The Acorn is seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our tight-knit kitchen team. This is a hands-on, collaborative role in a fast-paced, creative environment focused on vegetable-forward cuisine and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and excel at all stations, including Garde Manger, Pans, Pass, Brunch and Prep
- Collaborate on seasonal menu development and daily features
- Uphold high standards of consistency, cleanliness, and kitchen organization
- Foster a positive, respectful, and efficient kitchen culture
- Contribute to our zero-waste ethos through creative ingredient use and waste reduction
- Support inventory management, ordering, and prep planning
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen experience, ideally with time in a leadership role
- Strong technical skills, a refined palate, and close attention to detail
- Passion for plant-based cuisine and sustainable food systems
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as part of a dedicated team
