Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Overseeing different areas during an event
- Responsible for communicating any issues that may arise with the
managers
- Responsible for enforcing policies and procedures of Centerplate
- Responsible for attending all briefings before every shift
- Responsible for awareness of any menu changes
- Responsible for good working knowledge of proper food handling
procedures
- Responsible for alcohol service including last call , stopping and refusing
service , checking all I.D
- Responsible for providing a high level of service to guests
- Responsible for understanding of different food and beverages options
that Centerplate offers
- Responsible for maintaining a positive and helpful demeanour in all staff
interactions and guest interactions
- Responsible for resolving issues that may arise with a customer in a
diplomatic way in a timely manner
- Responsible for Monitoring guests alcohol levels to ensure the safety of
each individual
- Responsible for helping maintain adequate stock levels throughout the
event

- Responsible for collecting all paper work at the end of each event
- Responsible for have good working knowledge of P.O.S systems and the
ability to troubleshoot when necessary
- Responsible for ensuring all staff duties are finished and staff have signed
out at the correct time.
- Responsible for dealing with any issues that may arise with guest or staff
- Responsible for checking assigned areas at the end of the event to ensure
everything is clean and properly stored and alcohol is locked and secured
- Responsible for accurately counting inventory and log transfers to other
areas
- Responsible for Introduction of yourself to hosts or organizer to ensure
their needs are being met
- Responsible for Documenting any incidents or concerns that may arise
during a the shift
- Responsible for understanding par levels and product rotation to prevent
product spoilage
- Responsible for the ability to maintain inventory to ensure product doesn’t
run out or overstock
- Responsible for giving directions to the staff in an assigned area
- Responsible for performing daily administration duties in accordance with
assigned function
- Responsible for participating in ongoing training of standards and
procedures
- Other duties as required
Pre- Requisites:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisor role
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of serving experience
- Must have Serving it Right
- Must have extensive knowledge of wines
- Must Successfully complete in-house training program
- Must have the ability to lead assigned portion of staff in completion of
duties
- Must have in depth knowledge of F&B preparation and presentation
- Must have good working knowledge of level 3 layout
- Must be able to work with limited supervision
- Must be able to carry large banquet trays
- Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Must have strong knowledge of banquet set up and operations
- Must have excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Must have excellent team leadership skills
- Must be able to unload pallets
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $22.00-$24.54 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
