Growing catering company seeking full-time chef/manager. Attention to detail and passion for food is an asset.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
-coming up with specials and new menu ideas. Must be able to be creative and use what we have in-house.
-ordering supplies from suppliers
-inventory and waste control
-overseeing food and labor costs
-overseeing other cooks/stations to make sure they’re on track with orders
-working alongside the drivers to make sure deliveries leave on time
-training and leading other employees
Candidate should be able to:
-be up to date with culinary trends
- work well with others
-work well under pressure while keeping up standards
-multitask
-have very strong organizational skills
-be able to think outside the box in any emergency situation (have a "what can we do in this situation" instead of "we can't")
Must have reliable vehicle
Must be able to help with off-site caterings on weekends and nights.
