Responsibilities

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their purchases.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services offered to effectively sell and promote items to customers.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service for all customers.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise as needed.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the checkout process.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization at the cashier station and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cashiering or a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Excellent time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Familiarity with technology sales is beneficial for promoting products effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
