Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash as needed.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as required by the kitchen staff.
- Ensure that all items are properly sanitized according to health and safety regulations.
- Help organize and maintain inventory of clean dishes and kitchen supplies.
- Collaborate with cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
