Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sanitation Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and sanitation standards within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in cleaning, management, and hospitality. This role is essential in ensuring that our environment meets health and safety regulations while providing a clean and welcoming space for both staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the sanitation team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain cleaning schedules for all areas of the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with sanitation standards and protocols.
- Train new staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and equipment usage.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning activities during events or peak times.
- Address any sanitation-related issues promptly and effectively, providing solutions as necessary.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities, inspections, and staff performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within janitorial or custodial services.
- Strong background in commercial cleaning or housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment used in sanitation processes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
