Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Carpenter Helper to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry field. The Carpenter Helper will assist skilled carpenters in various tasks related to construction, renovation, and repair projects. The role requires a willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of flooring, including hardwood, laminate, and tile.
- Support carpenters with heavy lifting and moving materials on job sites.
- Operate CNC machines under supervision for precision cutting and shaping of materials.
- Utilize hand tools such as saws, drills, and chisels safely and effectively.
- Help restore and repair existing structures as directed by lead carpenters.
- Participate in masonry tasks, including bricklaying and concrete work when required.
- Perform maintenance person duties such as assembling furniture or fixtures as needed.
- Aid in roofing projects by assisting with material handling and installation.
- Assist with drywall installation and finishing processes.
Experience
- Previous experience or knowledge in flooring installation is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety protocols is essential.
- Basic understanding of CNC operations is beneficial but can be learned on the job.
- Proficiency in using hand tools effectively is required.
- Experience in masonry or similar construction tasks is advantageous.
- A general maintenance person background will be considered a valuable asset.
- A willingness to learn new skills and techniques in carpentry is essential for success in this role.

Pay: $18.66-$34.25 per hour
