As the Chief Crowfoot Learning Centre (CCLC) Administrator, you will provide administrative support to the daily operations of the CCLC acting as the first point of contact for all internal and external clients, maintaining course material and arranging logistics of classrooms and graduation ceremonies. Primary duties include:

  • Provide administrative support including mail and correspondence, printing, scanning, and photocopying, document control, maintaining office supplies, as well as general support for CCLC staff members, unit support and internal/external clients.
  • Record practical and eLearning exemptions for both sworn and civilian members of the service.
  • Track subpoenas and Police Action Requests (PAR) on Content Server for Unit members. This includes recording, directing to the appropriate member, monitoring the status, and liaising with the Court Unit.
  • Plan and coordinator all aspects of recruit classes including class start up and graduation ceremonies. Including uploading and maintaining class materials, coordinating with supporting units, and providing support to class instructors from start to finish.
  • Perform records management, ensuring accountability and compliance.
  • Book and maintain classrooms, audio-visual equipment and transportation needs for recruits and internal/external members.
  • Assist with arranging meetings, recording meeting minutes, distributing meeting documentation.
  • Schedule external speakers for the Recruit Training Program and confirm their commitment.
  • Assist with staff records and documentation.

Qualifications
  • A 1-year certificate in Office Administration (e.g., an Office Professional Certificate or an Administrative Assistant Certificate) or related, and a minimum of 5 years related experience; OR
  • A 2-year diploma in Business Administration, Office Management or related, and a minimum of 3 years related experience.
  • Preference will be given to applicants who have experience using Content Server, SharePoint, InTime, and/or MyLearning, and Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Experience using student management software will be considered an asset.
  • The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate the following competencies: communication, efficiency and thoroughness, focus on results, relationship building, service orientation, stress tolerance, team building and teamwork.
Pre-employment Requirements
  • An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.
  • Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications. Education obtained from out of country must have or be able to obtain, an Education Credential Assessment (ECA) for confirmation of equivalent credentials.

Compensation: Pay Grade 6 $33.29 - 44.52 per hour
Days of Work: This position typically works a 5 day
work week with 1 day off in each 3 week cycle.

Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
