As the Office of the Chief Administrative Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative support to ensure the operational success of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Serving as the first point of contact for both internal and external customers, you will handle a variety of tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment where priorities frequently shift. The primary duties include:
- Transcribe meeting minutes and coordinate follow-up actions with senior management on key initiatives.
- Effectively manage and schedule competing priorities, ensuring alignment with organizational projects and goals.
- Prepare and draft professional correspondence for diverse internal and external audiences while adhering to high standards of professionalism.
- Organize data and information from multiple reporting sources and produce reports for internal and external partners.
- A high school diploma or equivalency (e.g. G.E.D.) plus job-related course work (for example: Business Administration, Communication, or Customer Service).
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a progressively more senior administrative position.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) is required.
- Previous experience in a police or judicial related environment would be an asset.
- Efficiency and thoroughness with the focus on achieving results.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships that helps with team building and teamwork. Service orientation and stress tolerance skills are required for this position.
- An enhanced security clearance and pre-employment polygraph will be conducted.
- Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications. Education obtained from out of country must have or be able to obtain, an Education Credential Assessment (ECA) for confirmation of equivalent credentials.
