Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, with the ability to create visually stunning designs that delight our customers. This role requires a strong foundation in food preparation and safety, as well as excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all patrons.
Responsibilities
- Decorate cakes with precision and creativity, utilizing various techniques and styles to meet customer requests.
- Prepare and assemble cakes, ensuring quality and consistency in every product.
- Collaborate with team members to design custom cakes for special occasions, including weddings, birthdays, and corporate events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating area in accordance with food safety standards.
- Handle food items safely and efficiently, adhering to all health regulations.
- Assist in packaging finished products for display or customer pick-up.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with clients, answering questions, and taking special orders.
Experience
- Proven experience in cake decorating is essential, showcasing a portfolio of previous work if available.
- Background in the restaurant or food industry is preferred, with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with baking processes and kitchen equipment is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to enhance customer interactions.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
