We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Opener to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth start to our daily operations. This position involves preparing the restaurant for service, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service from the moment we open our doors. Responsibilities
- Prepare the restaurant for opening by setting up dining areas, kitchen stations, and ensuring all equipment is ready for use.
- Sanitize all surfaces and equipment according to health and safety standards to maintain a clean environment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including baking, assembling dishes, opening the espresso bar and ensuring all ingredients are stocked and ready for service.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for cashiering duties when needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly and assisting them with their needs as they arrive.
- Help maintain inventory levels by notifying management of any shortages or needed supplies.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
- Experience operating POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment is essential.
