Now Hiring! Cabinet Assembler, Commercial Architectural Millwork
If you’re a true craftsperson \ woodworker with a passion for assembling one-of-a-kind, complex architectural millwork, we want to talk to you. At Provincial Store Fixtures, we don’t mass-produce — we bring designers’ visions to life through precision, skill, and creativity.
You’ll work on showpiece-quality reception desks, feature walls, custom cabinetry, and architectural details destined for high-end commercial spaces, entertainment, hospitality, and institutions. Every project is unique, and every detail matters.
Unlike many shops, we have dedicated teams for machining, assembly, and finishing — so you can focus on what you do best: expert-level assembly of complex custom millwork. No repetitive basic boxes. No on-site installs. Just pure craftsmanship at the highest level.
ONBOARDING SCHEDULE FOR EVENING SHIFTS:
- Until team is ready to move the candidate to evenings, the schedule will be Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
- Advanced notice will be provided when moving to the afternoon shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble a wide range of custom architectural millwork directly from full-scale architectural blueprints
- Work with materials including solid wood, veneer, laminate, and specialty finishes
- Measure, fit, and join components with precision to achieve exact specifications and flawless alignment
- Prepare wood surfaces for finishing (pre- or post-assembly)
- Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery with confidence and accuracy
- Inspect assemblies for perfection — from structural integrity to the smoothest edge
- Collaborate with engineering, programming, project management, and other skilled trades in-house to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ proven experience in architectural millwork assembly (commercial or institutional focus)
- Must be able to read and interpret full scale detailed architectural drawings and shop blueprints
- Advanced knowledge of woodworking, tool, joinery techniques, and assembly best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and a sharp eye for detail
- Team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically able to lift, stand, bend, and work with precision over extended periods.
