What You’ll Do
- Estimate & Bid: Review and break down large architectural drawing sets (often 95+ sheets) to extract all finishing millwork scope
- Digital Workflow: Organize, manipulate and cross-reference on-screen PDF plans (split/merge, markup, file management)
- Cost Analysis: Build detailed, competitive pricing (material, labour, timelines) for new work and project change notices (PCNs)
- Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate changes with shop foremen, site supervisors and operations managers; process email scopes and revised drawings
What You Bring
- 3+ years of commercial millwork estimating (or adjacent trade estimating with strong desire to specialize)
- Expert PDF/Bluebeam/PlanSwift skills and comfort in a fully digital, paperless environment
- Proven track record interpreting complex architectural and shop drawings
- Sharp attention to detail—no missed items, no costly oversights
- Ability to think on your feet, ask smart questions and execute with minimal direction
