The Building Cleaner should be a friendly face for residents and team members to interact with. Reporting directly to the maintenance team manager, the successful candidate must have their own vehicle (you will be compensated for mileage) and will be responsible for ensuring the common areas of all properties are kept clean and tidy both inside and out, greeting residents with a friendly demeanor and high level of customer service. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team and a moderate amount of physical activity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Vacuuming, dusting and glass cleaning in all common areas of each building.
- Cleaning common area laundry rooms and emptying all trash bins. ● Ensuring building mail areas are free of any flyers.
- Inspecting buildings for maintenance issues and notifying the maintenance team leader of any deficiencies.
- Following a precise schedule.
- Ensuring the exterior grounds of each property are clean and tidy. As the ideal candidate you will have your own reliable transportation, experience cleaning, a positive attitude and the ability to manage your time effectively
