Interested in helping students achieve academic success? If so, consider a tutor position with Sylvan Learning Centre in North Edmonton. Sylvan is recruiting individuals who can tutor high school math and sciences and individuals who can teach the Sylvan programs of reading, math, and writing. Tutors work with students in a 3:1 setting in centre, providing individualized instruction to each student. Tutoring is offered 4-8 pm Monday through Thursday and daytime hours on Saturday.
Applicants are accepted who have a degree or who are in the 3rd or 4th year of a degree program (B.Ed. preferred). The person who best qualifies has a positive attitude, works well with students of all ages, and is an effective motivator.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per year
